  • Salary: $125,000 - $145,000/year DOE
  • Location: Vancouver, WA (hybrid)
  • Travel: ~10-20% to client sites within the US, Canada, and Europe

Who You Are: In a Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) equipment OEM environment, a Project Manager in the Service Department operates at the intersection of technical operations, commercial control, and customer asset performance. The role extends beyond classic project delivery into lifecycle asset stewardship and recurring service revenue optimization.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Strong mechanical & controls familiarity
  • Deep understanding of RNG upgrading technology
  • Process engineering literacy
  • Experience with margin control, risk pricing, and contract literacy
  • Operational experience with shutdown planning, field team coordination, and crisis management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills such as customer-facing under pressure, negotiation capability and clear technical communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10-20% domestically and internationally
  • Ability to pass a background check

 

What You’ll Do: You will lead service projects within an RNG equipment OEM environment, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget execution across installations, upgrades, warranty work, and field service initiatives. You will serve as the primary post-startup customer contact, supporting long-term asset performance and reliability. Partnering with engineering, field, and commercial teams, you will manage project financials, resolve technical challenges, and drive recurring service revenue through maintenance programs, service agreements, and performance optimization efforts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Project Scoping – Define and control scope of work; prevent scope creep through change management
  • Estimating & Quoting – Develop technical and commercial estimates (labor, parts, subcontractors, contingencies) with risk-based pricing
  • Cost & Margin Control – Manage project budgets and track actuals vs. budget to protect gross margin
  • Schedule Management – Build and maintain execution timelines aligned with site constraints, downtime windows, and commissioning milestones
  • Resource Coordination – Allocate field personnel and engineering support; ensure material and subcontractor readiness
  • Service Contract Management – Track KPIs (Availability, Methane Recovery, Power Consumption) and ensure SLA compliance
  • Site Performance Oversight – Monitor and optimize RNG upgrading systems; lead performance test campaigns and validate guarantees
  • Cross-Functional Integration – Bridge Engineering, Field Service, and Supply Chain across project and contract execution
