Key Details:

  • Pay: $79,438.00 - $107,474.00/year
  • Location: Vancouver, WA
  • Schedule: Full-time; M-F; on-call rotation (to take service calls)
  • Travel: Occasional travel

Who You Are:  You are highly adaptable and have exceptional problem-solving abilities. Building solid relationships with clients, vendors, and teammates comes naturally. Your excellent communication skills foster effective collaboration and clear understanding in onsite and remote settings.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Science in an applicable engineering discipline; direct experience in a similar role will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 2+ years of related experience in electromechanical/maintenance fields
  • Ability to organize and set priorities.
  • Experience with ERP systems, SCADA/HMI & PLC systems, MS Office, especially Excel. 
  • Mechanical aptitude; experience with electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Excellent technical and professional writing ability.

What You’ll Do: As the Technical Support Representative, you will ensure our advanced installations work well and provide excellent service. This role will communicate with customers remotely, explaining how the installations function and giving them detailed reports on their performance. You will guide customers on using the installations correctly and handle any needed maintenance, prioritizing customer satisfaction to deliver top-notch services and solutions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for supporting the performance, operation, and service of installations.
  • Provide corrective and preventative maintenance reports to customers regarding the installation and its performance.
  • Actively assist customers in the commissioning of installations, offering operational instructions, processes, and maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with field engineers to deliver proactive advice to customers or internal members of the organization.
  • Demonstrate proactivity, keen observation, and proficiency in independent and team-oriented work.
  • Report findings and recommendations to the appropriate parties.
  • Offer suggestions to optimize equipment and its performance.
  • Assist and manage service procurement functions.

Bright Renewables offers 24/7 service response to our clients. As a member of the team, this role may involve on-call availability and work outside of normal business hours based on client and project needs.
